At Bio-AI, a highly collaborative artificial intelligence lab located in Tromsø, we are interested in a range of concepts and ideas. Bio-AI Lab facilitates the conduction of cutting-edge AI research and its applications in biology, and that also serves as a space for collaboration and student education. We work with biological signals and data, irrespective of the source being EEG or microscope. Our interest lies in interpretable and scalable artificial intelligence that can cater to a variety of sensors and scales of manifestation of life.

The Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu (IRSJD) is a research and innovation center in biomedicine. The IRSJD was created in 2015 through a collaboration agreement between the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital, the Universitat de Barcelona, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu and the Fundació de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu.
