Foundations to Impact: The next chapter for Better AI Health
As the BETTER Project, coordinated by Datrix | Embrace the AI Challenge, wraps up its first phase, we are proud to reflect on the significant groundwork that has been laid. This initial period has been dedicated to “building the rails”—defining the legal frameworks, establishing the architecture, and ensuring our distributed analytics platform is robust and GDPR-compliant.
Now, the project is shifting gears.
2026 will be the year of impact. We are moving from preparation to execution, where we will start deploying our privacy-preserving infrastructure to analyse real-world clinical data. This transition means we can finally start generating the insights that matter most—helping clinicians and researchers improve outcomes for patients, all without sensitive data ever leaving the hospital walls.
