As coordinator of the BETTER project, Michele Compare of Datrix took part in the 2nd ESRA Workshop for Early-Career Researchers, where he delivered a keynote on the project’s work.

Risk engineering meets trustworthy medical AI

The keynote provided an exceptional platform for the dissemination of the BETTER project. Presenting the project’s work at the intersection of multimodal AI and federated learning for healthcare, Michele Compare opened up a valuable dialogue on how risk, reliability and safety principles are essential for building trustworthy medical AI.

Sharing the vision of BETTER with such a vibrant, multidisciplinary audience highlighted the immense potential of bridging advanced healthcare technologies with rigorous risk engineering.

Thanks and next steps
